Joe Biden Doesn't Have It
Sometimes it is hard to spot a lie. Other times it is not. Joe Biden having Covid is a total lie. The self-immolation of certain people like NV AG Aaron Ford making a big deal about “self-isolating” as if it is some sort of magical sacrifice is also part of the lie.
Covid as we have come to find out is like a bad cold for healthy people. The statistics are plain and anyone that doesn’t understand them becomes a Covid denier.
If you are old and infirm like Biden, yes, Covid is serious. Old and infirm people shouldn’t be in positions of power. Especially President of the US. If he is so old and infirm that Covid is a threat, he should resign the Presidency.
Covid gives Joe the opportunity to sit in his basement and circle the wagons. He needs to see how much support he has and it is next to zero among mainstream Dems and more importantly, Dem money. It also allows him to try and figure out a graceful exit.
I do not have empathy for Crooked Joe. He should resign the Presidency if he gives up the campaign.
Why?
Because he isn’t well enough mentally to be President. We have witnessed that. Even though his VP is not qualified to be President, she was put there by a “majority” of voters. Even though many people question that majority Constitutionally, she has to step in. If he is not now also physically able to discharge the duties, it’s another reason to resign.
He must resign and not just “serve out the rest of his term”.
I am refusing to buy into conspiracy theories about the attempted assassination of President Trump. I want to think better of ourselves. If indeed it was an inside job and deliberate, we have bigger problems. Many say a Civil War would have started had he been assassinated. If the Conspiracy theories are true, a hot Civil War has already started.
Let me lay a conspiracy theory on you to be adjacent to the other conspiracy theories going around. What follows is all conjecture, conspiracy, and speculation. There are some actual facts but every good conspiracy theory has some facts that feed the confirmation bias which builds and spreads the theory.
To refresh, the first conspiracy is on the assassination attempt of former and hopefully future President Trump. Sean Davis does a good job at The Federalist of talking about it.
Given the way both the PhD in Education Jill Biden selected, DEI-appointed head of the Secret Service, and the almost impeached Secretary Mayorkas are talking about the security detail in the aftermath, their actions FEED the conspiracy theory since they aren’t being transparent.
Trump rises, Joe has another bad week in front of left-wing media lapdogs George Stephanopoulos and Lester Holt. Crooked Joe goes to Vegas, and blows his speech at the NAACP. He meets with Jeffrey Katzenberg and both Senator Schumer and Representative Jeffries tell him he doesn’t have support.
Then, he gets Covid?
Is it possible since they missed on Trump, they are trying to actually kill President Biden with Covid? That allows them to install Harris as President since NO ONE in the Democratic Party wants to run against Trump now. It’s not realistic for someone like Gavin Newsome or Gretchen Whitmer to mount a Presidential campaign in 80 days. That’s when they start early voting. This is another knock against early voting by the way.
Even without the conspiracy, Joe Biden must resign the Presidency if he quits the race for any reason.

Every day that Ole Slow Joe hangs on is one less day another Democrat has to campaign.
But you are absolutely correct in that he should resign, or "retire" is how Id imagine they will phrase it. This would be the honorable thing to do, and it would give him a King's exit.
But the Bidens don't have honor, and the Democrats don't have honor. They believe in power and will fight for it until their political deaths.
It's amazing how the tables have turned. I remember not too long ago (primaries) the media loving their narrative on how the Republicans are so fragmented, disunited. They saw our party struggle as a bad thing; a sign of weakness. In truth, it's healthy, and look at what has emerged -- a strong, united party that is really rolling right now.
I'm not getting cocky, but I'm feeling better about where things are headed. I imagine Democrats still have tricks up their sleeves, and they still will attempt the soft and hard cheating. The soft cheating is the disinformation, like the "51 Intelligence Officials" and the hard cheating is the manipulation of mail-in ballots for voters no longer active.
It's going to be a fun fall to watch.
Good analysis. But we still have the issue of why "doctor" Jill is willing to give up power. There must be a payoff to her.
