What A Load of Crap
John Meacham wrote an editorial in the NY Times. Every Democrat repeated it using similar words. The common them, Joe Biden was heroic in stepping down.
This is a very large load of horse manure.
Joe Biden was not heroic. He was anything but heroic. He was selfish. He allowed himself to be manipulated. He was narcissistic.
The actions of Joe Biden, and everyone around him which includes all the powerful Democrats and the mainstream media, made America less safe. It made a mockery of American elections. It made our military less safe. It increases the risk of bad things happening around the world. Lo and behold, in some places of the world there are open hot wars.
VP Harris is culpable. Obama too. Pelosi, guilty. Hakeem Jefferies played the charade. All of his cabinet knew. None of them are worthy of the trust of Americans given what’s happened and what could have happened. Joe Biden was the worst President in American history and it could have been worse!
We don’t know much about the assassination attempt. There are several conspiracy theories out there. Some like Sean Davis of the Federalist think it was a planned attempt by the Deep State and the more the Secret Service director stonewalls Congress the more she fans conspiracy theory flames. There are people that think if Trump had been shot, we would have open Civil War. That’s not due to a random shooter but due to Joe Biden since he is ultimately responsible for the Secret Service.
The Democrats are showing their cards. They are only interested in power. They need the power to milk taxpayer dollars and send them to their crony political machines. Biden showed how autocratic and centralized Democrats are. They don’t care about citizens. They only care about smoke-filled rooms and Joe Biden enabled the smoke-filled room.
This was a coup. A bloodless coup. It was a coup nonetheless. The only reason it happened when it did is that Trump and the debate revealed who Biden really was. The platform X was able to investigate, tell stories about, show videos of to confirm what we all knew or were learning. Thank goodness Elon Musk bought it.
Those of us who were paying attention knew he was addled in his brain as far back as 2020, and possibly prior to that. Up until a week ago, we were called nasty names by the left-wingers in our lives if we said anything about the President being dementia riddled.
Since Biden has resigned from the campaign because of his infirmities, why hasn’t he resigned from office? Lyndon Baines Johnson stepped down ahead of the primaries and gave everyone a chance to compete. That was noble and a man that cared about not only America, but his political party though for sure, Johnson put the party ahead of the country.
Biden is the opposite of that. He tried to run roughshod over both his party, and his country. So did his entire administration and most of the Democrats in Congress.
Don’t buy their bullshit because that’s what they are selling.
Good stuff, Jeff. The narrative pivot was needed because what are they really going to say: "Sometimes to save Democracy you have to suspend Democracy"? 😉
The Dems are in their usual "repackaging" mode, where they take someone and market them like a product, based on polling. They did it with Obama, who purposefully did NOTHING prior to his presidential campaign. Why? Because it is much easier to paint a blank canvas. But he was a hyper-partisan leftist. They spent millions to lock up his school records. They always hide the vulnerabilities. Then they packaged him as a brilliant, one-of-a-kind genius.
They did it with Biden, too, packaging him as a "uniter" and a "moderate." This was based on polling of what people wanted at the time. He was anything but.
With Harris they will have to lie to us by "repairing" her image into something completely unlike who she actually is. She will be a "compassionate, hard-working leader" or some shit. Does it matter? When she "governs" it will be the same people putting paper in front of her to sign (policies she hasn't read), to activate their policies, not hers.
The good news is that she apparently gets so twisted up in trying to be what she thinks people want her to be that it's plainly obvious she has no real ideological tether. She will be whatever the pollsters say she needs to be in order to get that sweet-sweet power.
Her staff hates her, and she has a 90%+ turnover rate in the three years she's been VP. There are only 3 people left from her original assumption of the VP office. Three out of 47! That speaks volumes.
It will be up to Trump and Vance to remind America who she really is, and to pound her mercilessly.
This campaign is far from won, but if they show Americans that she is just an empty suit being packaged by Democrat consultants then Trump will win.
