I see Democrats have taken to LinkedIn en masse. People I know are getting very political and anti-Trump. Because they happen to be powerful people, the peanut gallery echoes them in the comments. In other cases, they are trumpeting the plaudits of mismanaged cities like Chicago. The peanut gallery echoes them in the comments.

Except, it only goes as far as the peanut gallery. They think they are being an “influencer” but because they are shouting into an echo chamber, there is no influence.

Plus, there is transparent data to be found.

For example, I saw a post on how city of Chicago violence is down. Sure, but it’s still pretty violent. No one would objectively say, “Chicago is a safe city like it was in the 1990s or even the early 2000s”.

No one would say, “Los Angeles is back” because with the cultural Marxists running both the city and state, it is impossible for it to come back. That’s why people are leaving.

The big cities of the US illustrate “replacement theory” on steroids. The wealthy are leaving and being replaced by the lower middle class and the poor. I love listening to NYC mayoral candidate Mamdani. He’s a communist and clearly doesn’t have a grasp of objective reality. He does have a grasp of political reality. He will be elected.

LinkedIn has become a gigantic echo chamber. One thing I would tell the people on my left that I hope they could agree with. We are truly divided politically now. Hopefully, we can agree that when someone’s party is in power, like the Republicans are now, the appointments they make and the bureaucrats or figureheads that they fire out to be Republicans, or replaced by Republicans who will toe the party line.

I’d expect no less from the Democrats and oh by the way, that’s the way it was in 2020. So stuff a sock in it.
