We went out to see the northern lights tonight. The place we went is a very short drive from our lake. Here are some photos I took with my iPhone. I used a 10-second exposure on the photo. No filter, no adjustments. What’s interesting is when you look at them with the naked eye, they are sort of gray-green. But, you could see them move. The light blips in the photos are stars.
My wife on the dock.
The Big Dipper is in this one.
Pretty cool. Hat tip to my daughter on the description and hat tip to my wife for figuring out we could see them.
Beautiful. These are the things that make up a life. Most of us don't think to look, or take the time to look. Kudos to you and yours for both thinking about it and taking the time to look. There is beauty all around us. We forget about it with the size of the clown show all around us, calling at us constantly.
nice !! thanks
