No Kings

Dumb Tantrum

Fringe Democrats had a tantrum over the weekend on Flag Day. Instead of celebrating Flag Day, they celebrated No Kings. If they knew their American culture, we celebrate no kings every year on July 4th.

It also happened to be the Army’s 250th anniversary on June 14. The reason we celebrate that is the American Revolution, it gave us the “no kings” thing. Ironically, there was a very long debate about who would run the country. Some people, like Alexander Hamilton, favored making George Washington a permanent executive, like a king. This is why, when Washington served two terms, his speech after his second term, passing the torch of power to John Adams, was so groundbreaking in human history. But, the fringe has no intention of celebrating the American Army, unless they control it and can use it to infringe upon the rights and freedoms of American citizens.

Don’t call out the National Guard or the Army for riots that burn cities and destroy private property. Call out the National Guard or the Army when someone is surfing in the ocean during the COVID-19 lockdowns.

Here is my challenge to the fringe Democrats.

Why aren’t they introducing legislation to put term limits in place? If they truly want no Kings, they ought to be comfortable with no Queens, Lords, Dukes, Knights, or any other monarchical designation of power.

Here is a list of the longest-serving politicians. Both parties have their fossils, but Democrats have more of them. Why aren’t the Fringies protesting this? In Illinois, they just convicted Michael Madigan. He was the longest-serving state speaker of the House in US history. Also, one of the most corrupt. He used his position of power to wring out at least $40MM in personal net worth.

I think it’s also important to remember that there are several long-serving politicians whose ancestors served in the same seat prior to them. The Dingell dynasty in Michigan comes to mind. That smacks of royal bloodlines and a King, no?
