Read The Fine Print; Fake Trump Endorsements
Massie Playbook Comes to Nevada
One under-reported part of the Thomas Massie defeat in Kentucky was the fake Trump endorsement. Massie used a Trump endorsement from 2022 in his campaign.
Trump said on Truth Social:
“Horrible Congressman Thomas Massie put out an old Endorsement, from many years ago, of him by me long before I found out that he was the Worst Congressman in the History of our Country,” Trump wrote on Truth Social Tuesday afternoon. “I endorsed Ed Gallrein, a true American Patriot, which Massie knows full well, so the statement that he put out is fraudulent, just like HE is fraudulent.”
“WITHDRAW YOUR FAKE STATEMENT, MASSIE, RIGHT NOW!” he concluded.
In a similar post an hour later, Trump urged voters to see through Massie’s “deception” and vote for Gallrein.
There is a reason Republican candidates will use a fake Trump endorsement and try to deceive voters. Look at what happened to people in Republican primaries not endorsed by Trump. They got crushed.
My opponent in the Nevada State Treasurer primary has peddled his fake Trump endorsement, too. He idolizes Massie. He and Massie are both anti-Trump and share the same playbook. They both use a stale Trump endorsement to deceive voters. He was endorsed in 2024 along with every single Republican running for Congress or Senate that year, when he got creamed in his race for Congress. He underperformed Trump by over 5 points in a winnable race. Independents didn’t break for him. Trump hasn’t endorsed in 2026. Read the fine print on his material. Don’t be deceived.
I think having a very high degree of integrity in the Nevada State Treasurer’s office is incredibly important. It’s managing $12 billion of taxpayer dollars, and we all know what happens when deceptive people get control of them. When I started in the finance biz, “your word is your bond” wasn’t just a bumper sticker. It was everything.
Why mislead voters for political gain? If you are going to do that, what would you do to mislead them when you were actually in the office?

I guess that it's a political fact of life that you have to acknowledge Trump. Since I am not running for office, I don't have to. Here's to returning to true Republican values in 2029, no matter which party's candidate becomes our next President. This garbage that half (or more) of the country is an "enemy of the people" is tragically divisive. I wish you all the luck in the world, Jeff. You are truly the superior candidate and will make a terrific Nevada State Treasurer. And, most importantly..... You Have My Endorsement!!! ;<)
