I hate that DEI dominates the discussion today as it relates to corporate boards. The statistical studies showing that “diversity” on boards creates good outcomes for companies are specious at best. But, my article is about more than that.

I hope Chicago gives him a great send-off. The VGK beat the Kraken, and soon they will start their march to Lord Stanley’s Cup. Winter has finally broken up North and the great melt is on! Soon the black flies will be stirring underneath the water's surface, ready to emerge and terrorize everyone. It’s short sleeves and shorts here in Vegas and time to tee it up.
Just once, I'd like to see Sarbanes Oxley applied to Exec suite or one board of directors member.
Oh, and regulating the ISS by shareholder rights instead of by shareholder footprint might be nice, too.
Yes...it's unfortunate, but some cities have become so chaotic that it really is an employee safety issue.
Re remote work, I believe it's situational--the benefits and disadvantages depend on the company, the organization, and the specific job. Company-wide edicts are a bad idea.
