I am not sure if you saw Joe Biden’s Chair of Economic Advisors, Jared Bernstein, talking about economic policy or not. If you did, you know his entire administration is some sort of alternative universe. It’s a total sham. Virtually everyone in it is a caricature.

MSW and DSW stand for Master’s and Doctorate of Social Work. Monkeys could attain that level of academic achievement.
It’s pretty clear he doesn’t have any economic sense at all. Yet, he’s running the Council on Economic Advisors. Maybe it is just the sing-a-long portion? He should resign but he won’t. People like him don’t have a conscience.
Let’s say Biden had appointed Paul Krugman. You might say, “He’s a hack and I don’t agree with him.” But, Krugman’s got a PhD in Economics not to mention a Nobel Prize for research on international trade.
Biden is sending blind people to a sharpshooting contest. The stakes are too high for the irreverence and insincerity the Administration has shown.
It’s not enough to say, “The other party does it too”. Many appointments are political, not based on talent or merit. Most of the time, they are ceremonial-type positions that require nothing but glad-handing. Ambassador to a small country or something like that. “Here is a position, thanks for the fundraising. Enjoy the next four years in a great spot with housing, food, transportation, and your title paid for by the US taxpayer.” Qualified people generally fill the real nuts and bolts positions. You might not like Rahm Emanuel but he is at least qualified to be Ambassador to Japan, our closest ally in the Pacific. He was mayor of Chicago, a Chief of Staff for Obama, and an integral policy wonk in the Clinton Administration along with being elected to Congress.
Don’t ask Rahm to run the numbers on corporate mergers though.
The Biden Administration has made so many appointments of unqualified people it has to be deliberate. They started with the cross-dressing people who make a sham of the military. But, it doesn’t end there. The press secretary is a joke too. From “Circle back” to the one today who puts a lid on it.
They don’t respect you. They don’t respect the country. This sham can’t end fast enough.
The Democrats have sold quite a few people on the idea that they are the "adults in charge" party, and that they are the elite experts who know best. And they are literally Science. These are the ones that--if we would only just get out of the way of our ignorance--could fix our world and remove all that ails it.
I've looked at these people for decades and thought, "how clueless are they?" Especially on economics. Yes, there are Left wing economic PhD's, but that means nothing to me, other than a non-thinking NPC who got lucky with an idea (Krugman is Exhibit A, here).
Democrats have gotten away with making everyone else look like idiots by taking finger-pointing to an elite level. When Trump builds up the economy, it's because Obama set him up. When Biden has inflation, it's because Trump caused it. When Obama had his recession, it was Bush's fault.
The people buy it because the media plays the tune and pounds the talking points. This worked well when people did not suspect the media for being the propaganda organs they are.
But now with alternative media, people are waking up. Hence the need for the Democrats' draconian censorship regimes of the past few years. They are plugging holes in the damn, and it's not working.
Now, we are seeing who the Democrats are, and how they are destroying what it took 200 years to build.
Will the people change their votes?
We'll see.
