Why Is The Mainstream Media Picking Up On An Old Story?
Over the past few days, the New York Times and Washington Post have picked up the story that all conservatives knew before the election of Joe Biden. Hunter Biden’s laptop is real, contained all kinds of sensitive information including Department of Defense codes, and linked payments from government officials and organizations directly to Joe Biden.
10% for the big guy.
I am not the only one pondering this. Former Bush press secretary Ari Fleischer tweeted this.
Tucker Carlson interviewed Hunter’s business associate, Tony Bobolinksi before the election. The mainstream media and cable outlets that parrot Democratic talking points didn’t report on it. Instead, they made up a story and used Democratic officials to say it was Russian disinformation. If you are a liberal or don’t know about it you can look at the videos on the web if you search for them.
My question isn’t about the corruption of the Biden Family. It was clear they were corrupt. My question is why is the mainstream media picking up on the story 8 months ahead of the midterm elections in November?
Some clear facts:
Democrats look like they will be absolutely crushed in the midterms. It’s so bad, Democratic mouthpiece Chuck Todd showed how bad it could be on MSNBC. Socialist Congressperson Cortez said the Democrats were going to get killed. They are sounding the alarm.
In addition, economist John Lott has put out a peer-reviewed academic study on how the Democrats actually stole the 2020 election. I skimmed the study. Two things that jumped out at me. First is that he compares counties that border counties where alleged fraud occurred. I don’t know if the border counties are representative of the “fraud” county so it might be statistically meaningless. The second is that I am sick and tired of statistical inference on this matter and wish it would be proven in a court of law, not public opinion. Proven in court, heads need to roll.
We need secure elections in the US. For what it is worth. VoteRef.com filed a lawsuit in New Mexico yesterday to try and clean up the voter rolls. New Mexico is a blue state run by Democrats. Apparently, they aren’t interested in transparency. Here is their press release.
The groundbreaking Voter Reference Foundation (VRF), which has ushered in a new era of American election transparency at VoteRef.com, filed a First Amendment lawsuit in federal court against top Democrat officials in New Mexico to ensure the public’s right to view public voter rolls is not blocked.
The lawsuit, filed this week in U.S. District Court in Albuquerque, names Democrat Secretary of State Maggie Toulouse Oliver and Democrat Attorney General Hector Balderas as defendants and asks the court to immediately declare that VRF has the right to show the public the voter rolls they pay for with their tax dollars.
In the complaint, VRF alleges that Secretary of State Oliver has made public statements that falsely characterize VRF’s publication of the voter rolls as illegal. Also, the lawsuit alleges Oliver has a history of bias when dealing with public records requested by those she doesn’t agree with politically.
“The taxpayers of New Mexico pay for election administration, and they have an absolute right to view the records that are produced,” said Doug Truax, Founder and President of Restoration Action, which created VRF. “Confidence in American elections is at a low ebb and one reason is a lack of transparency.”
Yesterday, Senators Johnson and Grassley published actual wire receipts that had a Chinese government organization sending $100,000 to an account controlled by the Biden organization. More needs to come out here but what it is looking like is our worst suspicions are true. If so, Biden needs to resign.
Remember, Hunter was on the board of the Ukrainian oil giant Burisma and received handsome checks for his service despite having no relevant business experience to be a productive board member.
But, why does the Democratic Machine want to torpedo Biden right now? We have a war in Ukraine caused by their policies. We have high inflation, much of it caused by their policies. Do they think getting rid of Biden will keep them in power? How is the chessboard going to be rejiggered?
Why would the folks at the CIA, FBI and other powerful bureaucracies want the story to become front and center now?
That would mean President Kamela Harris. For identity politics, it is a win, but it is clearly a huge loss for the country given her performance as VP so far. Who would be installed as her VP?
Wouldn’t that mean further disaster in the midterm elections or am I missing something?
In the background, there is a feud in the Democratic Party between the Obamas and the Clintons. They don’t like each other. I noticed the Clintons started their fundraising arm up again a couple of months ago. Is that related to the mainstream media reporting on the laptop?

I can't believe that any kind of indictment of Hunter is coming. Not from this administration. So that opens the question of why the donkey media is only now taking an interest in the story.
My guess is that they are doing what Jim Comey tried to do for Evita Clinton back in 2016 when he "re-opened" the illegal emails investigation: trying to do a favor for someone they like, but it may not work they way they intend.
When new evidence of Evita's email criminality came to light in the form of Anthony Weiner's computer, Comey wanted to shut it down before it could harm Evita. But he knew that if he simply ignored the new evidence, the lingering questions would haunt Evita's presidency. So he "re-opened" the investigation long enough to say, "Nothing to see here" and then shut it down again, thinking that this "second debunking" of the accusations would end the email matter for good.
But Evita blamed Comey for her loss anyway, for re-opening the investigation.
I think what the media are trying to do now with the Hunter laptop story is to bury it for good, by pretending to look at it objectively but in the end finding reasons to conclude that there's still nothing there. They are past the point where any revelations will change the outcome of the 2020 election, and want to put the Hunter question to bed once and for all.
But by raising the issue again themselves, the only thing they will get is blame when the donkeys get butchered in the midterms.
They are just trying to get the bad news out of the way so that’s it’s forgotten and/or “accepted” as “old news” by the midterms. Obviously their motivation is not truth, transparency, and accountability.
