Also- a great product line. My wife is celiac, and we always have Simple Mills products in our pantry. There is a big difference in some of these 'gluten-free' products. You can see it and taste it.
I might also add that while Chicago can be a stick in the mud on some things, when it comes to food and consumer brands it is historically an innovative place.
Great story. When I worked with entrepreneurs--even those past early stage--the successful ones always focused on disciplined execution and only obtaining more $$ when absolutely necessary. Sounds like Kaitlin is similar.
Our advisors often source advice from various Chicago based mid cap folks. Hopefully the horrendous IL governor is not ruining that niche.
This is such a cool story. Funny enough, I wouldn’t have given much thought to simple mills, except that they are basically the only crackers my wife will buy. Really great stuff.
Hi Jeff,
Great success story - thank you for sharing. We buy their almond flour crackers.
Great tribute from the inside.

glad she could help!
Wonderful story and so happy for her.
This would be a good case study in business schools, if they still teach that sort of thing.
Love this story. I am always inspired by successful entreprenurial stories. Thanks for sharing and congrats on a great exit.

We enjoy their products.
Beautiful story and thank you for sharing that.
Jeff,
Are there other good venture fairs you recommend?

I’m betting she is from Chicago or, at least, the Midwest.
