Here is another lie: https://redstate.com/nick-arama/2022/12/26/here-comes-more-censorship-rachel-levine-pressuring-big-tech-to-shut-down-gender-misinformation-n679106 Since Renee Richards, we have been force fed a diet of crap around transgenderism. There just isn't that much of it and a majority of them are mentally ill according to scientific data. Compassion for them? Yes. But, hormonal treatments and these surgeries are barbaric until the person reaches the age of consent and goes through a process to get them.

With the FBI's role in not just throttling the Hunter Biden story, but in actively suppressing it and punishing those who discussed it, it is fair to say that the FBI is an arm of the Dem party and committed a number of crimes enumerated in the Federal Code -- unlawfully influencing an election, voter intimidation,. interference by administration -- that are screaming out for punishment.

In addition, the FBI committed a great number of civil rights violations and common torts.

1. The FBI knew from day one the Hunter Biden laptop in their possession was his and genuine. They further knew it contained evidence of specific felonies committed by Hunter including arms and drug felonies. They knew this from day one and sat on it for a year.

2. The FBI -- of its own volition -- interceded with social media to pre-warn them of a story that they knew was true - the New York Post story on the Hunter Biden laptop.

The FBI lied and said there was evidence of Russian involvement -- disinformation or hack and copy. They lied knowingly and leaked their lies to the press as they did with the Dossier.

Who first fabricated and told that lie? Who? Who?

3. The laptop raises a good number of crimes and serious lies -- Hunter committed the crimes and Joe Biden told the lies.

Joe Biden at one of the debates looked into the camera and lied to the world that the laptop was Russian disinformation whilst knowing it was perfectly genuine.

Joe Biden had his campaign arrange for the gargantuan lie told by 51 intel pros that the laptop was Russian disinformation whilst the FBI and Joe Biden knew it was not and it was, in fact, perfectly genuine.

The 51 IC hacks should lose their security clearances and be formally reprimanded for their lies if not charged. This is proof of the depth of the Deep State and its leftward leaning.

4. In the two weeks running up to the election, the FBI -- they were driving the effort -- used their power, their tech savvy, and a shit load of personnel to support that lie and to further press social media -- Twitter and others -- to suppress the NY Post and anybody who repeated that true story.

Twitter followed their direction and banned persons for telling the bloody truth.

The media fell in line and printed what the FBI leaked.

5. The FBI paid Twitter $3.5MM for the personnel expense of those engaged in the coverup. The FBI bloody well used tax dollars on their own skullduggery, but also paid Twitter for their work.

6. At no time did the NY Post story give rise to criminal (other than Hunter and the other Bidens) or national security concerns. Every jot and iota of the story was true and the FBI knew it.

7. There is nothing in the FBI's charter that authorizes them or directs them to interfere in the election of the President. Nothing.

There are Federal statutes that forbid such behavior.

Twitter is lousy with former FBI and CIA types. Former FBI counsel James Baker (he of Dossier fame) worked at bloody Twitter for goodness sake.

The sheer magnitude of the interference with a fair election is beyond belief and can be ignored only at the peril of our Constitutional representative republic.

Every person involved with this at the FBI and in social media should be perp walked into a courtroom and made to explain and defend their actions including Director Wray.

Riddle me this -- If Elon Musk had not bought Twitter and released these emails, WTF would ever have happened? Nothing.

These are impeachable offenses, but good God, Kamala?

Agree, and they are impeachable offenses. Which Democrat votes for, and brings Articles of Impeachment? Please point to one that would. Who will ever stand in a real trial for crimes they committed, or for perjury?

I am glad Elon bought Twitter and that journalists from the left (Taibbi, Greenwald, Weiss, Shellenberger, Berenson, etc are not center, or center right, or right; they are of the left but not the hard left). are exposing the left for what it is however, they aren't being heard by the left. There is no self-realization or self-assessment taking place. They are circling the wagons.

Epic JLM post, thanks!! Am I naïve to think that garland has everyone's backs and probably authorized Christmas bonuses for all involved?

Scary to contemplate what 'the files' would be if Elon got control of, say, facebook and google. Twitter is just a canary in the coal mine.

The FBI does a lot of good. But, Dear God, WTF? All of the millions spent on russian collusion that lead to nothing while this election interference is as blatant as can be -- and not reported on let alone special prosecuted up the ying yang?

We are probably worse than canada now.

re moderation by bots...there is a FB group for pilots and air traffic controllers. Several months ago, a pilot posted an item thanking the tower crew at some airport for fast handling of an emergency medical flight.

The censorship bot picked up on the word "medical" and inserted a paragraph about where to go for trustworthy medical information.

perfect illustration. the information police are ever present. the bots actions reinforce gossip, which reinforces opinion until what you are seeing with your own eyes and want to believe is considered untrue, so you don't believe it

Here is a rough one: Communist China uses all kinds of accounts to spread their gospel. Should they be censored since we know communism is bad for us beyond all reasonable doubt? Or, let them tweet.....

During the Cold War, the Soviet Union maintained extensive radio jammers to prevent their people from ever hearing the 'disinformation' spread by Western broadcasters. I don't think the US ever attempted to jam Soviet broadcasts.

OTOH, the Soviet broadcasts were, I think, all high-frequency or very-low-frequency; ie out of the tuning range that most people's radios had, so perhaps not perceived as a serious threat.

Paraphrasing John Mayer, "when they own the information they can bend it all they want".

The shame of it all is that despite my constant casting aspersions on Jack Dorsey for years Twitter still had the opportunity to be an incredibly beneficial social media vehicle and benefit society tremendously had they just chosen to uniformly enforce policy decisions without political biases.

The utterly obnoxious and frankly abhorrent inmates running the asylum strategy of CEOs from Facebook and Twitter and others allowing 20 something 90% liberal employees to determine censorship is just absurd.

The refusal to even consider Hunter Biden's laptops as legitimate, despite multiple people coming forward and proclaiming that they had sent those messages to him and received those messages from him, which completely and totally contradicted the so-called 51 intelligence experts pressured by the Democrats to come forward, resulted in an unprecedented manipulation of the outcome of presidential election that will go down in history as the sleaziest and scummiest most corrupt act in the history of our nation.

Media polls taken by media organizations not conservative either have shown more than once that 15% of Biden voters had they known the truth about the laptops would not have voted for Joe Biden and that is one of the reasons the Democrats strategy was to push so hard for so many people to send in mail out balance weeks before the actual election day because they knew they had that hanging sort of Damocles over them.

Elon Musk's recent video which I posted quotes from very clearly states as he's chuckling aloud that "frankly the majority of the conspiracy theories about Twitter were TRUE."

If we don't find a way to hold these people accountable it is entirely believable that our nation will deteriorate much more rapidly than any of us thought and we will be facing a second Civil War in less than half a decade as absurd as that may sound....

It has often been remarked that most media are now effectively operatives of the Democrat Party...and to that, we can also add the FBI.

But wait...are these entities operatives of the Democrats, or is it the other way around?

It strikes me that we have a set of people in America who consider themselves collectively as the *source* of political legitimacy: if they disapprove of you, then you don't deserve to be considered for elective office. These people are largely found in the national media, in Ivy League academia, in the high-level Civil Service, in the 'intelligence community', and, it appears, in the FBI as well.

This is the battle of our lifetimes yet I fear more than half of our nation is not following the Twitter file story because our mainstream media does not think it’s important. Where are the American lions? I only see sheep....

Yes, the censorship story itself is indeed being suppressed. Here in Illinois, for example, you would know nothing -- nothing -- about it if you relied on the Chicago Tribune and Chicago Sun-Times for news.
