Happy New Year
Those who know, know
Hope you get some Hoppin’ John tomorrow.
Thanks for all your support and comments in the last year. I appreciate it. More to come next year. It will be fun and pivotal for a lot of reasons. Right now, the prediction markets show a 73% chance that Democrats take control of the House. I think they are mispriced. I don’t think the Minnesota fraud has worked its way into the market yet, and neither has the wealth tax proposal in California.
State elections are becoming more nationalized in a way that they haven’t ever been before.
2026 will see the economy shift into a higher gear.
Tax cuts become law.
Savings accounts for babies get instituted.
AI gets better and goes deeper.
Interest rates will be cut at least one more time.
Markets will go higher
The war in Ukraine will finally reach a negotiated conclusion
America will wake up and realize it can’t be America without lots of electricity generation, which means nuclear power.
Innovation in medicine, finance, and other tech will start to go mainstream
My family will welcome two new grandchildren into the world. One is due in January, and the other is scheduled for February. We are putting new helical piers in the ground to shore up our cabin foundations in Minnesota this summer.
Buckle up.

"neither has the wealth tax proposal in California"
Cacafornia elections are ENTIRELY fraudulent; no actual human voters are counted. Only Navin Gruesome's fake computer-generated "votes" are counted. And with the congressional "leadership" controlled exclusively by RINOs, I wouldn't be AT ALL surprised to discover that the Dims will control the congress. Which is why Thune is fighting so hard to preserve the filibuster; it hurts us NOW, and when the Dims control the Senate, they can abolish it THEN to hurt us further.
All the best to you and the family in 2026, Jeff!
I, too, expected to welcome a brand-new grandchild in January - but was surprised with his arrival this very morning.
Not all your predictions sound good to me (especially AI expansion) - and I think it'll be a difficult year. However, it's not the first we lived thru and survived. [Even though "past results do not guarantee &&&"]
Happy New Year!
