"neither has the wealth tax proposal in California"

Cacafornia elections are ENTIRELY fraudulent; no actual human voters are counted. Only Navin Gruesome's fake computer-generated "votes" are counted. And with the congressional "leadership" controlled exclusively by RINOs, I wouldn't be AT ALL surprised to discover that the Dims will control the congress. Which is why Thune is fighting so hard to preserve the filibuster; it hurts us NOW, and when the Dims control the Senate, they can abolish it THEN to hurt us further.

All the best to you and the family in 2026, Jeff!

I, too, expected to welcome a brand-new grandchild in January - but was surprised with his arrival this very morning.

Not all your predictions sound good to me (especially AI expansion) - and I think it'll be a difficult year. However, it's not the first we lived thru and survived. [Even though "past results do not guarantee &&&"]

Happy New Year!

Thank you, but I had nothing to do with it.....famously I asked my father in law once if there was anything else I could do for him. He replied, "Some grandchildren might be nice." : )

Similar advice being the father of the groom, “have a wad of $50s and tip everyone!”

Happy New Year and thank you for your articles. Always great insights. Also love the Tales from Minnesota in the summer.

Other notes that could change the pricing on the prediction markets for the 2026 election: A communist running both New York and Seattle. Seattle is such a mess now, and being placed up in the Northwest, many won't notice the difference there. But New York? It should be quite eye-opening for some that have no idea how bad it can get.

Wishing you a happy, healthy and safe New Year and to all of your loved ones as well.

Just tried to make a bet on Kalshi for Republicans to win the midterms at 3.96 to one odds, but they are closed for maintenance from 3:00 a.m. to 5:00 a.m..

I think the majority of Americans have underestimated the impact on outcomes of elections with crackdowns on illegal aliens and the fraud in various States. Keep in mind that one person in Minnesota can vouch for eight others, but if you work at an assisted living facility or a nursing home, you can vouch for nearly an unlimited number and take them with you to the polls and probably cast their votes for them, given the leniency and apathy that exists these days at most polling places in Democrat run communities.

I have a 3rd grandchild coming in July. Congrats on yours!

And yes ... I think next year will be a good year for the country. Mid-terms may buck historical trends. :)

Jeffrey, my fondest hope is that we brushed elbows inadvertently at the bar at Rivers back in the day or crossed paths on Wacker outside the CME in days gone by. I appreciate you as part of the Chicago I loved. Happy New Year to you and yours.

I like the sound of this, Jeff!

I hope it is correct.

Feeling a little blackpillish lately.

This is what I needed.
