People Like Order
I read an article where more young people are turning to the Catholic Church to put some order in their lives. Gen Z has had a chaotic upbringing compared to my generation. I am at the tail end of the baby boom.
There is a broader point to be had here. I am glad the Gen Z people are turning to Christianity to find some order and meaning in their life. Catholicism has been heavily criticized by the left in order to undermine it. Their goal is to drive people away from institutions like the church. Many leftists have infiltrated the hierarchies of churches. The recently deceased Pope might have been a nice guy and had some good qualities, but he was a hard leftist in the tradition of the Argentine Peronists. They were not good people.
I was raised Presbyterian, and the church isn’t close to resembling what I grew up in. I went to an Easter service one time, and they didn’t even mention that Christ was raised from the dead. The hierarchy of the Presbyterian church, and other mainline Protestant churches, all advocate for pretty left-wing causes now, including socialism. The funny thing about that is that in a socialist society, churches are banned or go away, and the state becomes the religion. Try distributing free Bibles in China.
We forget that every church on earth is run by humans, who fail all the time.
You can criticize the Catholic church, but one thing they have done a good job with is keeping it very structured. The pace of the service, their belief system and other parts of the church haven’t changed much over time. Stability. Order.
This brings about a broader point to be wary of.
People like order. They don’t like chaos.
Whenever communists take over a country, the first thing they do is try to create a lot of chaos. They incite riots. They divide and then conquer. They try to say the existing form of government is chaotic.
Once they accomplish that, they come in and show how they will preserve order. Albeit a new order! One that will crush human rights, crush opportunity, and make sure the people in charge get all the spoils. Many are just relieved the riots are over. They are willing to be led like sheep and aren’t worried about the rest of it.
That has been the Marxist playbook since it was first put in play by Lenin and Trotsky in Russia when they overthrew the monarchy.
It is today’s Democratic Party playbook. In New Hampshire, Illinois Governor JB Pritzker called on Democrats to take to the streets. He called on Democrats to attack Republicans.
Pritzker conveniently forgets the BLM riots where the leaders of BLM got a lot of corporate dollars but nothing changed for anyone else. He forgets the arson and how they tore up cities across the United States. Pritzker isn’t the only one who has forgotten nor is he the only Democrat calling for violence in an obtuse way.
At his core, JB has terrible character. I used to know him. He doesn’t realize that when he was born, he never hit the grand slam. He found himself in the dugout and it was the bottom of the ninth, two outs, two strikes on the batter, and he was winning. He envies China and their lack of property rights along with the rule of law. Meanwhile, Illinois has become California with worse weather and better hot dogs. Recently, Illinois moved to have constitutional cases only decided in Springfield and Chicago. Gee, I wonder why?
Democratic judges are trying to stop Trump. What they are doing is unconstitutional, but they don’t care. The media reports inaccurately. At the same time, establishment Republicans get in bed with their fellow Democrats when government cuts are on the table. That’s why DOGE has roadblocks in front of it.
I think the broader electorate wants budget cuts. If this Congress doesn’t give it to them, look out in 2026. They cannot just give a few fig branches to the minions as they have in the past. Congress is coming back in session. They better get busy.
The Democrats want disorder in order to preserve order. Their order.
The Dems are all about control. They are not remotely democratic.
The Dems cannot be trusted with governing and the public purse because they bastardize both of them to retain power.
1. Look at the absolute lie about how the White House could not control the border. In one day, Trump shows the world the Dems' lies.
2. Look at the border itself -- an open invitation to the entire world to break the law promulgated by those who were supposed to enforce the law. All done to generate future Dem voters and to control political outcomes.
We have 20MM illegals in the country right now.
The magnitude of money diverted from legitimate programs to support this criminal invasion is breathtaking. They gave millions of them Social Security cards and benefits.
3. The Dems have been engaged in a government funded fundraising scheme -- Dems form NGOs, the government through entities like USAID funds these NGOs, the NGOs are a gigantic source of Dem fundraising during elections.
The NGOs promulgate Dem policies that cannot be directed by the government.
It is a gigantic corrupt scheme that is hidden by the media who are part of it. Look at just the media's coverup of Joe Biden's deteriorating health. They knew from Inauguration Day. Look at all the lies.

A horrible irony in all this is the folks on the left in Democrat politics, in the arts and most recently, mainstream religious leaders, most of whom think they are performing what's best for the greater good of Humanity in attempting to address the social ills, are all failing to admit, as they so often do, theories exist to be proven or disproven and many of their theories have been proven false. Why is it they ignore results and consequences? Why is it they double down on losing strategies and failed policies? It seems to me that the further left you go, the more condescendingly arrogant you become and unwilling to admit you are ever mistaken.
They laugh off the reality that their inflammatory rhetoric contributed to two assassination attempts on our President, multiple violent riots in the streets, on college campuses and in front of Tesla dealerships. They're coming very close to starting the next Civil War.
