What surprises me somewhat, not that anything does anymore, is the vitriol flowing against Elon. After all, he's the green guy who provides the leftist staff cars that they all want to be seen in. You linked to Ed Z about FB and I've read his take on Twitter. Just weeks into the transition, it's all a failure. To quote he says: Elon Musk is a big, stupid dumbass, a terrible manager, a terrible coder, and someone who lacks the basic empathy and emotional intelligence to run a company.
If Elon towed the line, he might not be a dumbass, but someone who ponied up 44B's that made a lot of folks incredibly rich. That is a big wealth transfer.
Bubbles are intense. I've gotten a lot out of your posts in this regard. Guess he's the pronoun racist now too.
Spot on as always. I’ve lost friends who were sick with co-morbidities. I’ve lost friends and family members to the manufactured hysteria. I’ve had friends lose their dream small businesses to all this BS. Sadly those still frightened are beyond reason. I weep for them.

I won't say one thing or other about the hazards of COVID but note that my BIL who was in the process of dying from metastatic colon cancer had the Chicom Chill just before going to hospice, fully recovered and then died of cancer two months later.

Depends on the domain. Rockets? Absolutely, if I were young I'd sign up in a second to work very hard for peanuts. I had MIT EECS friends and acquaintances who loved electric cars and made competition ones who'd do the same for Tesla.
Software development (which is not _running_ a site like Twitter but quickly impacts it). Never in a million years, he doesn't respect them and as for Twitter his undiscriminating job cutting has created so much technical debt it'll be a _long_ time before it might again be fun to work for the company. Ask for more details if you doubt.
When normal people become really really rich they diversify to protect their wealth. They buy newspapers or corner the market on arable land or something. According to what Musk told the Bee at every point along the way he was all in. He put every thing he made from the last business into the next business. If Tesla or SpaceX go bankrupt he will go bankrupt. He's an extraordinary businessman and engineer and it's fortunate he cares some about free speech.

Sorta had to choke when Klobuchar described Fauci as "a good man".
One of your best

Excellent commentary Jeff. Klobuchar is nothing but a Democrat stooge. Her opinions are terrible and if she understood Fauci and the damage he has done she would know better, but she follows Commiecrat talking points. I just read something on Bloomberg: Thousands of Covid sufferers whose lives were saved by ICU care are now burdened with long-term health effects from high doses of sedatives and other components of treatment. https://www.bloomberg.com/news/features/2022-12-06/covid-19-survivors-face-extended-health-struggles-after-long-icu-stays?srnd=premium&utm_medium=social&utm_source=twitter&utm_campaign=socialflow-organic&utm_content=business&cmpid=socialflow-twitter-business

This may not be popular but I see....Jonestown on a grandscale.

I’m also wondering what connections Yoel Roth had to Jeffrey Epstein. And both of them with John Brennan…
I’ve been saying that Fauci is the oligarchs deep state golden boy. If you’re taking flak…

Great these are just authoritarian thugs no different than the punks in my old neighborhood
Great post -- as spraying to all fields, you hit on several issues that highlight the current culture war that rages on. Well done.
Very good post. You shouldn't be surprised by A-Klo; she knows her audience.

About Musk. He's different. He did an interview with the Babylon Bee and it is well worth the time.

The saddest observation that is so unbelievable is that people continue to vote these maniacs in.
