No surprise that the G league has good talent. As you said the NBA has always been small. The US population has grown by 50% since 1980. None of the major pro sports have kept up. The NBA should probably have 4-5. NFL is much worse. So is MLB, but that league is intent on killing its appeal to anyone younger than 40.
