If you are a Democrat and don’t realize why this is hilarious it is because it is exactly what Twitter did to conservatives, Republicans, scientists, economists, and people who tweeted data they didn’t want anyone to know about.
It is said if everyone knew about Hunter Biden’s laptop prior to the election, Trump would have won for sure unless Biden could explain how he wasn’t corrupt.
He still hasn’t explained it yet.
What’s funny is the entire Clinton campaign made up a story about Russian collusion, used it in Congress to force a narrative and the media enabled the proliferation of that narrative. It was 100% untrue, and the reality is it was the Clintons who were colluding.
I am glad Elon won. While the wedge of this to get in and get support was free speech, I think that Elon will unlock a lot of value from Twitter and we will all be better for it.
They literally believe their BS. It must be tied up in their sense of superior morality and virtue. They think those of us on the Right are truly evil and morally compromised and therefore, since they are not, it must blind them to the rank hypocrisy.
In a way it is funny. But really, it is terrifying cuz think what these folks can justify doing to us when they are in power if this is how blind they are to right and wrong. They will be able to justify ANY AND EVERY THING and I mean evil things in pursuit of making things and us "right".
This could be a SNL skit. I don't believe that they are blind to their hypocrisy. I can see them nodding in agreement, "let it fly".
