You forgot to mention that she reports to a known incompetent - Mayorkas. Both should resign immediately and epic failure .

I’m neither a gun expert nor a law-enforcement expert, but how could anyone get what appears to be such a clear shot at a president/former president/presidential candidate? It’s just seems like such a huge screw up.

And RFK, Jr. needs secret-service protection yesterday!

Also, James Garfield. And, while George Wallace survived, as did Reagan, Wallace was a paraplegic after.

One of the more seminal events during the Biden presidency was the conviction of Minnesota policewoman Kim Potter for the shooting death of former Chicago thug Daunte Wright. If you remember, Potter mistook her revolver for her taser and took down Wright, as he resisted during a traffic stop. Unknown to Sgt. Potter-and ignored by the Leftist bitch media-Wright had shot his best friend just weeks earlier (in Chicago) and a year later, that friend died from his wounds.

Since the wrong headed Potter conviction, few cops in their right minds are going to employ deadly force, even when demanded. It's one thing to be suspended or even fired for a questionable shooting under stressful split second circumstances, it's quite another to be convicted of a felony and sent to prison.

If Biden wasn't a piece of garbage Democrat dependant upon the vote of violent, culture destroying minorities, he should've pardoned Potter and shined a spotlight on out of control white liberals in the upper Midwest. Alas, law enforcement is now so neutered that even the next, presumptive President of the United States can be clipped while Secret Service agents wait for a brainwashed nut to shoot first.

Judge Chu made my skin crawl during sentencing. Potter made a mistake. Easy to do when your life is on the line with a highly athletic, combative, criminal with a history of shooting people. She was basically lynched by the blood thirsty george floyd mob.

Remember Squeaky Fromme, a Charles Manson acolyte, aimed a gun at President Ford in Sacramento, and spent 34 years (of a life sentence) in prison, released at age 61 in 2009.

Seventeen days later (9/22/75), Sara Jane Moore fired two shots (both missed) at President Ford in San Francisco and was sentenced to life in '76. She was released on parole in 2007.

I posted this on another Substack about 20 hours ago. Hope you don't mind getting it second hand:

This is what the response will be: 1. He brought this on himself. (ie. Hitler saying WWII started because of the Jews) 2. He deserved it. (Ie he's just so mean and evil) 3. Too bad the guy missed. (don't mean it but they really do) 4. Actually this is a false flag operation. Trump did it to get votes (Let the conspiracies begin.) 5. See we told you to ban all the guns. 6. Nothing we did or said. 7. All Trump's fault because...well everything is his fault. 8. Climate change caused it. 9. Trump should drop out, for the sake of his family. 10. Elect Biden

So easy to predict.

Supposedly a local police man climbed on the roof, saw the shooter with an AR, who pointed it at him. Then he climbed down. As he was climbing down the shooter opened fire. T/F?

My guess is that Hanlon's Razor applies in all of these situations.

Life is filled with them. Radar noticed planes in the air shortly before Pearl Harbor. Though they were US bombers.

MacArthur kept his planes grouped together and all on the ground in the Philippines even the day after Pearl Harbor. We all have 20/20 hindsight. 20/20 foresight? Not so much.

Anyone can remember the past. Remembering the future is harder.

Now that everyone knows you can crawl on top of a building with a rifle, while a multitude of folks film it and also call to alert the authorities, and still get your shots off, oh boy, the copy cats are going to come out in droves. Next time, there will be three shooters on that roof and will get the job done.

Seriously, you can just crawl up on a rooftop with a rifle within shooting distance of the president and you let him shoot first? WTF? Are they worried that the guy might be duck hunting or something?

You may have understated the prevalence of political assassinations. One could include the 1933 attempt on Franklin Roosevelt that killed the mayor of Chicago, the 1935 assassination of Senator Huey Long, the 1968 murder of Martin Luther King, and the 1972 shooting of presidential candidate George Wallace.

One fun fact: Kimberly Cheatle is a former "senior director at PepsiCo North America overseeing facilities, personnel and business continuity." Yes, she was a Secret Service veteran but please.

absolutely right. Grant tried his best but while a great general, not the politician Lincoln was. If Lincoln had not been killed, than Grant had 8 years in office Jim Crow and all the attendant strife probably wouldn't have happened. Or to a much lesser degree. Has to also be said that the R's in Congress wanted to get back to business ASAP and while they were against slavery didn't care much about discrimination.

One of the things that I find amazing is how much of this seems almost self inflicted. Lincoln didn't want a body guard at the theater. Two troopers were stationed but didn't have order to stop anyone going up to his box. McKinley ignored warnings that were so serious his appearance was postponed twice. Supposedly refused to wear a bullet proof vest (can't verify that). JFK didn't want the bullet proof bubble top put on the car in Dallas that the SS wanted him to use because of threats, so the crowds could see him. There was an incident with JFK where a man tried to kill him by wearing dynamite. Came close to the President near his home in MA. Jackie and one of the children came out. The guy didn't press the button because he said that while he wanted to kill Kennedy he didn't want to kill the children. Can't remember exactly how they found out about him. Think it was a local postmaster who noticed something but this was later. I believe RFK was warned also and it was suggested he take a different route leaving the hotel but he ignored it. By the way RFK Jr. thinks Sirhan didn't do it and wants him released so ????

Does make you wonder.

Also the Director of The Secret Service was in charge of cyber security at PepsiCo and while she's been a member of the Secret Service for a few years, her experience with boots on the ground is sorely lacking to be in the position she occupies.

I have stated repeatedly over the years it is next to impossible to underestimate just how inept and incompetent this entire administration has been and they have accomplished the seemingly impossible, that of underperforming the Carter Administration.

It's not even close.
