I'm typically way more cynical than naive, and I don't believe that Putin is even trying to seize greater Ukraine, let alone itching to fight NATO. Why would he? And, why hasn't he already? Wasn't Obama enough of a pussy? (especially after the debate vs Romney. Would Obama have had the balls in 2014 to admit, "well, I guess Mitt Romney was right and the 80's are back"?

Also, if Putin is such an unhinged war monger, why didn't he vaporize Kiev at the onset and why (probably) whack uber-hawk Yevgeny Prigozhin?

Russian aggression? We handed COMMUNIST Russia the entire Eastern half of Europe and sat back and watched when they invaded Hungary in 1956 and Czechoslovakia in 1967. Heck, even when were knee deep in a Cold war, we wouldn't fight a Hot War.

I've little patience with those urging de facto U.S. escalation in the Ukraine. (and no, I don't think our actions are influencing China one bit. China will wait as long as it takes to move on Taiwan, because they're only a decade or two from eating our LGBTQ loving lunch, and they sure as heck know that)

Th U.S. is literally unraveling in not so slow motion. Ya know that $1tr in debt we're adding every 100 days? Well, as interest rate expenditures rise, along with unfunded mandates, we could hit $50tr in debt by the time of the 2026 midterms. Higher interest rates used to be kryptonite for gold prices. Now, gold is rallying BECAUSE rates are upticking. Did raising rates cure inflation in Argentina, or did sky-high borrowing costs accentuate their budget burden?

End of an empire. A fake "climate crisis", divisive make believe issues like gender inequality, racial inequality, income inequality, wealth disparities, and multiple prosecutions of a President whose re-election was derailed by a propagandizing leftist media, tech interference, illegal changes to ballot laws and election counting malfeasance.

It was great while it lasted, but in reality, the U.S. was lucky to last as long as it did, after jumping the shark during the second decade of the previous century.

Appreciate your opinion Mr Carter, but we have to stand firm on "no funding for Ukraine's border till ours is secure!" I pray for our country!

Ukraine is in Europe, so it is EUROPE that needs to step up and support Ukraine. Germany and France and Italy and Spain and all the other "free riders" who have consistently failed to meet their NATO _OBLIGATIONS_ to spend at least 2% of GDP on their own defense. Germany may be worst; led by Stasi communist Frau Merkel, Germany's "defense" is a hollow shell. Hollow air force, hollow navy, hollow regiments; not enough people and not enough weapons to defend themselves from the Islamist invaders, much less to support Ukraine. France and Spain are hardly better. Of all the European nations, only Poland and Greece are keeping up.

No. Let Ukraine fall if the Europeans won't help themselves. My grandfather drove trucks in France in WWI, and my father dropped out of high school to enlist in 1945. My immediate family has a CENTURY worth of military service, and we sacrificed enough. Time for Europe to grow up and fend for themselves.

I agree with all the push back in the comments. Let me add a couple of things. First, you start with a rant about Biden's Secretary of Education giving the green light for boys to rape girls in bathrooms and locker rooms. Well, Putin's government doesn't allow boys or men to use women's 'safe spaces,' nor is it promoting a medical experiment involving the chemical and surgical mutilation of children. Indeed, the Russian government under Putin has passed some kind of law to protect children from LGBTQ+ propaganda. That's one of the reasons our foreign policy establishment is so anti-Russian -- they want to impose 'our values' on Russia, including gay rights and LGBTQ+. None of this excuses Russia's intervention in Ukraine or all the other bad foreign and domestic policies of the Putin government, but it does suggest there is an inherent contradiction between your criticism of the Biden administration's domestic policies and your support for its foreign policy, and it raises doubts about your belief that aiding Ukraine can undermine the 'morale of the Russian people.'

Second, what makes you so sure that we have the military capability to 'crush Putin'? Do you think Russia is Iraq? That we can establish 'air superiority' over Russia? Don't kid yourself. Perhaps the reason the Biden administration has adopted such a cautious approach to providing military aid to Ukraine is that there are still some military officials in DOD (in addition to the trannies) who realize that the Russian military has the capability to inflict serious damage on our allies and on the US homeland. There are Russian submarines swarming the oceans right now, and they aren't armed with tiddlywinks. For all you know, we would lose, and it is the morale of the American people that would break. Just because we spend far more on the MIC than Russia doesn't mean our military is more effective. And by the way, Russian 'conscripts' are reportedly volunteering to join the military in large numbers (it is Ukraine that is forcibly conscripting soldiers), while for some reason the DOD is having increasing difficulty recruiting into Biden's 'woke' military. Get real.

Two items, one large one small. Are these tells? First the large. A large number of F-35 fighter bombers (a 100 or so) have been put in storage by the military, because Lockheed Martin has had trouble getting the software for Tech Refresh 3 on these aircraft to work. The bugs on this Tech Refresh are expected to be worked out by 2025. The military recently decided to roll these aircraft out with just a partial Tech Refresh figuring some capability is better than none. Second. I was buying medical supplies for friends in Ukraine. I generally use one of two sources for medical supplies, one being a company that handles military surplus and medical supplies and the second a straight up medical company that provides supplies for emergency medical services. My surplus guys were out of tourniquets so I could not order from them. My medical supply company said they had them, however, when the order I placed arrived, there were no tournequits. A call to that company said there would be a 26 week delay before they got these American made/Berry Compliant tourniquets in. Kind of make me wonder what is going on.

The Marxists would almost be better than this administration, because at least the Marxists have no problems about where they stand, and this administration has waffled so much, I'm referring to it as the Eggo Administration.

Any Jewish person who votes for Joe Biden should have their head examined.

One day he is supporting Israel and the next day he is pandering to his preferred demographic base, which is ignorant, because there's no way in hell most of them who are extreme left will ever vote for Donald Trump anyway, so he's not going to lose the vote and I don't know who is advisors are, but they're foolish.
