Good article Jeff.

You were a trader.

There’s no hiding, no BS, no confusion, either you made money, and were right, or lost money and were wrong. ( I am over simplifying, sometimes a good trade loses money, and sometimes dumb trades make money, but that’s a different topic)

A trader who makes money is successful, it’s cut and dry.

That’s not how it works in politics.

They never have to review their efforts, audit their finances, adjust their methods, they just double down, triple down, throw more money at the problem, and the media provides cover.

Illinois schools are a disaster- they claim they need more money.

Illinois tourism is down, so they spend more on ads, etc. etc.

Capitalism works because you make a profit, or you go out of business. Socialism and big government fail because there is no clear standard for determining success. It becomes a quagmire of lies, distortions and nebulous claims that the oppressed were helped, the underprivileged were well served.

Until we have a media that is fair, objective and unbiased, we will see megalomaniacs like pritzker and sleaze bags like Joe Biden elected-

Regarding your last graph: It appears that the majority of the voting public no longer even listens to the corrupt deep state media, let alone attends to them. The only way the foxes can get back in the henhouse is by corrupting the voting process and they will pull out all the stops to achieve this. I hope the smart guys working with Trump have a plan for pulling the rug out from under them.

You are so right about Pritzker. He pulls a scam to avoid paying a huge portion of his own property taxes, but raises taxes on others. Crickets from the media and the Dems/‘progressives’/socialists.

He should be referred to as Toilet Boy, or maybe California Toilet Boy.

By the way, I love it when he tries to play the tough guy!

It's similiar to the 80's - it took some time after Reagan took office for his policies to lower inflation and interest rates. Short term pain led into long term gain. I'm trusting the process again this go around - and I predict the turnaround will be even more dramatic.

JB’s taped discussion with Blago is also a window into his true hypocritical self.

Your statement regarding the fiscal improvement that these Blue states could make if they chose to is so true. Unfortunately that means all those in control would have to lose their control and power of that control for it to happen. Thanks for your insightful articles and I agree with your opinions about John Kass’ work!!

There were actually two good clips. One in which JB recommends Jesse White for the Senate seat because he’s:

* Pritzker: Of all the African Americans I can think that are sort of like, qualified, and vetted, and people will say ‘Oh, that’s, you know, that’s a pretty good pick.’ The one I, you know, that’s least offensive and maybe gets you the most cause it gets you that Secretary of State appointment, is Jesse White.
Blagojevich: You can argue, he’s, you know,  he’s got a lot in common with Obama. He’s black and white. Ha.
Pritzker: Heh, heh.
Blagojevich: Huh. How stupid is that?
Pritzker: That’s good, that’s good.
Blagojevich: Hey um, no, he’s a good, he’d be a legitimate pick.
Pritzker: I’m not pushing  anybody.
Blagojevich: No I understand. What you’re saying there makes perfect sense. He has said he doesn’t want it.

“Thanks goodness two white guys were around to "vet" the pick.”

The other was discussing a spot for JB and JB thought the Treasurer position would be good for him and not the Senate seat.

If we had an honest dictionary ( or wikipedia ) under 'Pig' there would be a picture of J B Pritzker.

Agree on all points. I’m starting to hear of coming layoffs in my home state of Oregon’s socialist, grifter-government.

Also, I love the spot-on baseball analogy.

Btw if no ww3 oil looks like it should ease to the 30-40$ level

Why?

For over 50 years there were parts of the Gulf of Mexico we’re off limits to drilling

It’s now officially the gulf of America !!!

I think renaming the Gulf of America is silly, but part of his distortion/persuasion way Trump acts

Government bureaucrats declared war on the American middle class and lost. I have absolutely no sympathy for them. Losing their jobs is just a start. If this zerohedge article is anything to go by, many if them will end up in jail: https://www.zerohedge.com/political/eruption-bleachbit-wipe-hard-drive-offshore-bank-searches-dc-suggest-deep-state-panic

Yep, Trump unleashed hydrocarbon energy in 2017 and we had deflation as supply exceeded demand. For the first time since the 90's. Did Dubya do that protecting his Houston paymasters? No.

"It’s the same if you admit you made a mistake. The vultures descend and you are hung up in the public square for ridicule."

Exactly. Market forces are always superior. Funny how government employees are now being exposed to said forces and finally losing their jobs. Trillions later and it really pisses me off.

Governor Tax Break Toilets has been an abysmal failure.

For the Democrats to even think about discussing him and Karma llama ding dong as viable candidates is both laughable and pitiful.

Of all the so-called professions on the planet, politicians may have the lowest per capita rate of willingness to admit mistakes.

When it was first established to separate from the Michigan territory Wisconsin's southern border with Illinois was proposed as a straight line from the southernmost point of Lake Michigan and extend due west to the Mississippi River.

You have me wondering if folks in those counties' might want to revisit that possibility. I have no idea how Wisconsin would feel - - except that Cook and collar counties would absolutely not be invited.
