Glenn Reynolds linked to attorneys willing to represent civil plaintiffs. This is what it will take when the police stand around doing nothing and the Soros DAs file criminal charges against anyone who dares confront the protestors. Drive up the cost. Win or lose it will take the fun out of it, and force some of these groups out into the open.
If you pay money to a group that commits crimes, and you know this group does that, are you complicit? I think that once you found out about a group's illegal behavior and you no longer donated, then that would be understandable. But to continue giving money to criminal causes makes Soros complicit and a financier of crime.
Almost . . . almost, thou doth persuade me to be a paid subscriber. And you'd be the first and only. I'm old and poor. We must build new cites. I won't live to see it. Cities are indispensable unfortunately . . . presently anyway. They have ever been dens of iniquity and yet indispensable. Perhaps our end.
Having had some experience with the Lincoln Park Pirates in the seventies I can attest to the deterrent effect. It may be time to resurrect the brand.
Another solution might be a class action for false imprisonment (first suggested by Dan Proft). It only takes one victim + a lawyer to start that train.
Extremely well said @Jeffrey Carter. They should also arrest people for masking themselves during riots, as many laws are in place to avoid the anonymity displayed by the KKK in their parades. The problem is also that the cops can arrest people, but the District Attorney's are not supportive of follow through on the laws on the books...
I wasn't aware of laws on masking, but it makes a lot of context in the case of the KKK. You are correct on the DA. Big problems with Soros elected and backed DAs all over the country
I wish with all my heart we'd start to see these common-sense responses happening everywhere. Or anywhere. On Saturday we drove past a wooded intersection with a tent city and mounds of trash, in Raleigh, that wasn't there last time we went that way. As much as I've read and seen on the news, it was profoundly shocking to see it so close. Shameful.
As a counterpoint, authorities cleared and barricaded the totally trashed 'people's park' in SF, in point of fact private property, apparently in the dead of night. Hilarious, and a good example.
I like the RICO thing in that is promising if Republicans can win all three in the next election.
I am encouraged that New York law enforcement finally cracked down and arrested a bunch of the criminals blocking traffic earlier today out east and it behooves police departments around the rest of the country especially in Chicago to start doing the same.
If you hit them in the wallet they're not as willing to take on the paid protesting and if you threaten Soros with Rico charges, he and his goofball son are likely to back off finally
I think it will take a civil suit, bc the cities are allowing this to happen., They want it to happen, just like the Summer of Floyd "mostly peaceful" riots. I fear this latest mob terror is preparing the battle space for something really bad coming our way this summer, in the run-up to the election.
Interestingly, citizens of Phoenix sued their city under public nuisance issues, and the DA in Sacramento is doing the same. If only there was some way to hold the officials themselves personally liable!
This model was/is used by Russians to fund demonstrations in the US against continued use of fossil fuels because their own oil and gas market benefits.
I am a big believer in following the money trail. Where is the proof showing that Soros has directly or indirectly financed these protests? Once that proof is firmly established, then throw the book at him, the exact same way that New York AG James is going after Trump. What's good for the goose is good for the gander.

Sunlight!
The RICO thing is interesting.

I like it.
Amen Mr Carter!
VERY good ideas. It's too damn bad we don't have Republicans who are willing to make much of it happen.
too be fair, cities are not run by Republicans at all, and neither are the counties the cities are located in

Give them a whiff of the grape, once, and the problem will go away.
I know, I know, but I can dream.

What was the saying on the floor? "Stick and stay. Make 'em pay. . . maybe that's why I was such a shitty trader. :)
