I should add, the reason Holmes was so "revered" wasn't only the connections of her parents. It was because she was female and as we all know the "female market" is underserved. I'm mostly indifferent to the investors she cheated. But I am blown away that the jury didn't find her guilty of cheating the patients. Because the customers have the right to expect that what you're selling works, and what she was selling didn't work
